President Trump went on a late night attack against NBC and ABC News on Sunday, he was “biased” coverage in his view and said he would cancel his license in favor of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
The Republican President said that news outlets had given him negative coverage on “97%” of stories.
It was not clear that Trump was cited “97%” figure. A study issued earlier this year by Conservative Media Watchdog Group, Media Research Center (MRC) found that coverage in the first 100 -day office of the President was “92% negative”.
“If this is,” Trump wrote in his specific use of all caps, “they only have one hand of the Democrat party and, according to many, their licenses have been revoked.”

Trump said that he would be “completely on the side” of the move because – according to him – this outlet “so biased and untrue, there are a real threat to our democracy.”
The President attacked “fake news” at both outlets with another post and “two of the worst and most biased network anywhere in the world.”

The TV stations pay fees and annual regulatory fees on the station type and market base, while cable outlets pay their regulatory fees. Only the Congress has the right to impose and collect such fees, which are deposited in the American Treasury.

This is not the first time Trump has attacked the broadcast outlet or threatened to snatch his license. Last year, Trump prosecuted a defamation suit against ABC for $ 15 million, and he hosted “The Apprentice” on NBC before entering the world of politics.
