Union Home Minister Amit Shah resigned on Jagdeep Dhankhar on Monday as Vice President, saying that the issue should not be “extended too much”. Praising the leader, Amit Shah said that he did a good job while holding office.
Shah told the news agency, “Dhir ji was sitting in a constitutional post and during his tenure, he did a good job according to the Constitution. He has resigned due to his personal health problem. One should not try to draw it too much and find something,” Shah told the news agency. ANI,
As Amit Shah’s comment on Dhankhar, VP came ahead of the Vice Presidential elections for September 9. Maharashtra Governor CP Radhakrishnan is the NDA candidate for the major elections, and the opposition has nominated former Supreme Court Judge B Sudarsen Reddy as his pick.
Jagdeep Dhankhar resigned last month citing health reasons, a step that discussed what the leader could have done to take steps.
