A petition urged Florida officials that an illegal immigrant truck driver Harjinder Singh was accused of showing furore, killing three people, killing about 2.5 million signs till Sunday afternoon.
The petition-website was posted on Change.org and addressed to Florida Governor Ron Desantis-Calls were made for both desntis and Florida Board of Executive Clemensey to re-investigate the case against 28-year-old. Singh faced three cases of killing vehicles and three counts of three counts in connection with the deadly August 12 accident.
An illegal immigrant, 28-year-old Harjinder Singh, was operating a commercial semi-truck with a trailer on Florida Turnpike at Fort Pierce, when he allegedly tried to U-turn in an unauthorized area. According to officials, the trailer collided with a Minivan and collided with a Minivan, killing all three of his passengers.

Singh was arrested on 16 August in Stockton, California and was later extradited in Florida. Investigators determined that he and his passenger, Harneet Singh, according to the US Marshal service, fled to Sacramento a day after the accident.
On Saturday, a Florida judge denied Singh to Bond, deciding that he was an unauthorized foreigner and a sufficient flight risk. Lauren Sweet, Judge of St. Lucy County, also found a possible reason for all six allegations against Singh and classified him as forcibly hooliganism under the Florida Act.

“It was a tragic accident – not a deliberate task,” the petition stated. “While accountability matters, the severity of allegations against him does not listen to the circumstances of the incident.”
If convicted, the petition requests that Singh receives “proportional and appropriate” sentences, that parole eligibility is provided after part of his punishment and that the option of dislocation – such as consultation or community service – is considered.

The petition is signed by “collective Punjabi youth”.
Officials said that Singh illegally crossed the US through the southern border in 2018, later obtained a commercial driver’s license in California. He attempted to obtain the Working Authority, but according to Homeland Security Assistant Secretary Trissia McLaglin for public affairs, it was rejected by the first Trump administration on 14 September, 2020.
State Secretary Marco Rubio announced this week that the US was stopping the work visa for foreign commercial truck drivers, which has been praised by conservatives in view of the deadly accident.
