Vinay Kumar’s comment comes when India is facing 50 percent tariffs declared by us, half of which is a punishment for trade with Russia.
In an interview with the TASS news agency run by the state of Russia, India’s Ambassador to Russia Vinay Kumar said that Indian companies will continue to buy oil from wherever the best deal is received. He said “unfair, inappropriate and inappropriate” stated as a punishment for the United States’s decision to impose an additional 25 percent tariff on India from Russia.

What did Vinay Kumar say
“First, we have clearly stated that our aim is the energy security of 1.4 billion people of India and Russia, as many other countries have helped to bring stability to the oil market, global oil market. So American decision is unfair, unfair and unfair. Now the government will protect the national interests of the country,” Quoted Kumar said.
Kumar also said that business is on commercial basis. “So if the basis of commercial transactions trade imports is correct, then Indian companies will continue to buy from wherever the best deal. So what is the current situation,” they said.
Kumar’s comment comes when India faced a 50 percent tariff declared by Donald Trump, of which 25 percent was declared as a punishment to trade with Russia.
The United States has also claimed that India’s oil purchase from Russia is being used to invade Ukraine’s latter. However, India has strongly rejected such claims.
India has also called other nations including the United States to trade with Russia, which Kumar also reiterated in his interview,
He said that trade between New Delhi and Moscow is a bilateral relationship that meets mutual interests of the two countries and is done based on market factors with the overall objective of “1.4 billion people of India”.
