A train operator has warned people to expect interruption in rail services during the bank holiday weekend due to industrial action.
The crosscountry stated that the strike by the members of the RMT union meant that it would run a short timetable, no train is running on Saturday, the risk of canceling on Sunday and “very limited” service on Monday.
The RMT stated that its members had “strongly voted” in favor of the action were claimed that crosscontory had failed to honor staffing, security and salary.

The National Express said that it is increasing its capacity over the weekend in response to disintegration.
9,000 additional seats will be added, cities including Birmingham, Bradford, Bristol, Bolton, Cardiff, Hull, London, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle, Nottingham, Sheffield, Swanasi and Volwarhampton will serve cities.
Rail users in the Sheffield said that while the strike could be the cause of immediate dissolution, they were largely supporters of action.
The 44 -year -old Steven Vivian, who often travels by rail, said: “He has the right to expect his salary to increase the salary of MPs in the last decade.
“I think it’s quite appropriate.”
Another passenger, Christian White, said he often used trains and was affected by disintegration from the first strike.
The 21 -year -old said, “It bothers me in the short term, ‘Oh Great, I can’t train anymore’, but at a real level, where I am thinking about a broader perspective, it doesn’t bother me as much,” 21 -year -old said.
“If they want to strike and fight for their values, then why should they not do? There are places in the world where we cannot do this.”
On Saturday, passengers are advised with tickets booked for the crosscontry trip to claim full refunds or travel on both sides of the bank holiday weekend.
For August 23, only tickets will be valid on their services from only 21 to 27 August.
