Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashvi Yadav on Saturday reacted to an FIR registered against him in Maharashtra, who was allegedly asked to share an ‘objectionable’ post on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying he was not afraid.
The former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar said that under the BJP government, the word ‘Jumla’ (rhetoric) has also become a crime.
Yadav said, “Who is afraid of a cedar?”
RJD leader Sanjay Yadav also reacted to the FIR, saying that it was registered as Tejashvi Yadav spoke of “truth”.
“This FIR has been registered as Tejashvi ji has told the truth. He is filing an FIR in BJP ruled states. BJP also has its own MP and MLA in Bihar; he should also file an FIR here. If the FIR is being filed to tell the truth, let them do so; we will continue to tell the truth,” he said that PTI said.
Congress leader Shakeel Ahmed Khan said that even if one thousand FIRs are registered, the target will be achieved.
“Even if a thousand FIRs are filed, how does it matter? … When cases were registered against people and they were put in jail for Swaraj even during our fight, finally, we finally gained freedom. This journey is to achieve freedom from BJP’s views … We will achieve their goals. We will not let the vote be held,” Khan said.
