Jeffrey Epstein Associate Gisline Maxwell stated that she was “very central” for the “startup” of Clinton Global Initiative, according to a newly released transcript.
The Department of Justice on Friday released a transcript of its interview with Maxwell which took place on 24–25 July. United States Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche interviewed Maxwell, while she was recently inside a federal jail in Talhasi, Florida.
During the interview, Maxwell described her participation with Clinton Global Initiative, which “hosted an annual meeting with leaders of non -profit and philanthropic organizations; hosts an annual meeting with leaders of non -profit and philanthropic organizations; Business, labor and major voices in labor and finance; young leaders and ground -level activists; state’s leading and major government officials; state officials; global citizens, and more;” Website,

“I was,” Maxwell replied. “I would say very central to him, yes.”
Maxwell said that Epstein was “very enthusiastic” about his participation in the initiative.
,[Epstein] Support me to help them, but then I think he would have tried to use it to incorporate himself in some way, not surprising me at all, “Maxwell added his work with Clinton Global Initiative.” And I know that he was angry, in the context that I could catch him on the phone and he would not always agree what I wanted to do. Maxwell also said that she went to Davos with former President Bill Clinton at least once, saying that she never went to Epstein’s private island. Maxwell said she met former President Bill Clinton at a White House event and later became friendly with her through Miami Beach Mayor Philip Levin.

During the interview, Maxwell also said that former President Bill Clinton was his friend, “Not friend’s friend.”
Maxwell also revealed that she first met former State Secretary Hillary Clinton in a flight.
“I want to say – again, please don’t catch me, but I want to say that it was on a flight that came from the island – not from the island, not from Nantkett or Martha’s Wineyard to New York, which I think I think. I can go wrong,” Maxwell said.

Maxwell even said that she attends Chelsea Clinton’s wedding with an ex -boyfriend. Epstein was not in marriage, she said.
Maxwell’s lawyer David Oscar Marcus said in a statement, “Ghislen Maxwell is innocent and should never have been tried to be convicted in this case.”
“The material issued by the Department of Justice makes this clear. Ms. Maxwell answered every question. She did not refuse to answer and did not dodge any questions. She supported her reply with documents and other objectives. Her performance and credibility are clear to listen to anyone,” she said. “She was able to do so despite five torture years in custody, some of which in the worst imaginative situations.”
