The Punjab government has taken a step in his action on drug trafficking and political corruption by filing a comprehensive charge sheet against former state cabinet minister Bikram Singh Majithia.The 140-page charge sheet against Majithia was filed by the Punjab Vigilance Bureau after a comprehensive investigation into the alleged corruption and illegal accumulation of property.The final report includes about 45,000 pages of about 45,000 pages and an investigation of about 400 bank accounts. As part of the investigation, the testimony of more than 200 witnesses has been recorded.During the investigation, raids were conducted at 15 places in several states, with 30 properties, 10 vehicles and 15 companies or firms connected to Majithia. The charge sheet alleges that Majithia acquired assets worth about Rs 700 crore, which is more than 1200 percent of the known sources of income.The charge sheet has been formally presented in the court with assistant documents. Officials said an inquiry was conducted to investigate allegations of corruption and political office misuse.
