Bengaluru: Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivkumar will attend the 16-day ‘Voter Abhikar Yatra’ of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in Bihar.While Shivkumar will participate in March on Saturday and Sunday, Siddaramaiah will join on 29 August.Siddaramaiah told reporters here on Friday, “Rahul Gandhi is covered a distance of about 1,300 km in Bihar.Speaking in the assembly, Shivkumar said that he would travel to Bihar for two days.He said, “Rahul Gandhi is traveling in Bihar. I am going for a day, and the Chief Minister will go on another day. Some of our MLAs are also joining,” he said.According to his tour schedule shared with the media, Shivkumar is ready to join Mirchbari in Katihar district on Saturday and participate in the journey the next day.Rahul Gandhi started a 1,300 km journey on August 17, which will cover more than 20 districts in Bihar as the Congress has called its campaign “vote theft” (vote theft).The yatra will end with a public rally at Gandhi Maidan in Patna on 1 September.The Congress had claimed that “vote theft” was a “do-or-dai” issue for this, and announced a roadmap to take their allegations on people through various activities.
