Vivo v60 5G review: Vivo is back with another V series smartphone, Vivo V60 5G in India, bringing new wedding photography features, Zes camera integration, a new processor and more. However, this year, the smartphone design attracted my attention with new color options, a smooth construction and a modified camera module.
While the smartphone has received several upgrade compared to its predecessor, V60 has borrowed several features from its major cybbing, Vivo x200 Feso, Vivo V60 5G There is a correct mix of strength and premium features. But, is it Rs. 36,999 When it comes to this camera experience and performance? I have spent the last 10 days using the new Vivo V60 5G, to see if it remains even its promotion.
While the Vivo V60 5G is a balanced smartphone, offering promising performances, cameras and battery performance, there are some areas where the smartphone left me more fans. Therefore, without any other delay, let’s dive deeply in a detailed review of Vivo V60 5G.
Vivo V60 5G Review: Design
With the Vivo V60 5G mobile, the company eventually rebuilt the camera module, giving it a more sophisticated and premium look to the phone. Its vertically placed camera modules have two camera lenses, with a minor collision which is noticeable. Well, I am not complaining about the collision of the camera, but it wares on a flat surface. On the front, the smartphone has a quad-race display, which is also a welcome to increase the look and feel of the phone.
One of the most attractive features of Vivo V60 is its lubrication, which despite giving strength to a large -scale 6500mAh battery measures just 7.53 mm. Another attractive feature is its moonlight blue color. It has a bright rear panel with a bright texture that looks absolutely amazing and attracting attention. While I like the stubble tone, I like the blue shade because it is not very attractive for the eyes. Smartphone also comes in auspicious gold and haze gray colors for those who seek less vibrant and subtle colors.
In addition to a stylish design, Vivo V60 also ensures durability with shot diamond shield glass, which is 37 percent more drop-resistant than the previous model. It also comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance. Therefore, Vivo V60 5G ticks all boxes when he comes for a stylish, premium and durable design.
Vivo V60 5G Review: Performance
The Vivo V60 5G has a 6.77-inch quad-credited amoled display with adaptive 120Hz refresh rate, upgraded 5000nits peak brightness, hdr10+ support, and more. Well, the display features look good on the paper, and it also explains what it promises. From vibrant view to crisp details, watching material and gaming on the smartphone is really a visual pleasure. Therefore, this smartphone is an ideal option for multimedia users who prefer to watch materials on YouTube, Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.
In addition to visual aspects, the use apps and graphics-intensive games were also smooth and responsible, thanks to the adaptive fresh rate. The screen also felt bright, and it did not struggle directly in the position of sunlight.
Vivo V60 5G Review: Camera
Vivo V60 5G is a camera-focused smartphone, and it surprisingly provides many photography features that left me with some main people to test. Talking about the features, the smartphone includes a ZEISS-integrated 50MP main camera with Sony IMX776, an 8MP ultravide, and 50MP telephoto lens with Sony IMX882 sensor, offering 2x optical zooms.
Since last year, Vivo V Series is offering wedding photography features for the model, and we have some new additions for Vivo V60. While wedding portrait studios and film camera mode remain, we have a new wedding Vlog and some new tons filters that add values to images. The smartphone also includes the new AI four season portrait feature and two new focal lengths for 10x stage telephoto zoom and portrait photography from Vivo X200 Fe.
Now, coming on camera performance, Vivo V60 5G certainly does not disappoint when it comes to daylight photography. It captures vibrant images with dynamic range and great clarity. However, in some cases, you will often see a minor oversity with artificial looking colors, but they look promising to social media content. One of its best suits is capturing portrait shots by giving a natural spot to the background, detecting the edge and focusing quickly. However, I was not a great fan of its 10x telephoto stage portrait mode, as it softens the facial expression or overall view.
After taking a look at the low-light camera performance, the Vivo V60 was 5G decent and managed to capture enough light to make the image pleasing. But it lacks details and color accuracy in night scenes. Therefore, it still has some space to improve the context of low-light photography.
Vivo V60 5G Review: Performance
Vivo V60 5G is powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC, which is paired with 16GB LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage, which is Rs. 35,000. The smartphone is also equipped with an Adreno 722 GPU, which offers a decent gaming performance. The smartphone offers a decent multitasking experience without any interval or stutter. The smartphone also drives intensive gaming on high-graphic settings for good 30 minutes, but the performance is tempering with an extended period. Despite being a VC cooling system, the smartphone shows overheating issues
From the perspective of a software, Vivo V60 is based on Android 15 on 5G FUNTUCH OS 15. As I mentioned earlier, software is not my first priority because it feels disorganized, but it is still a user friendly. It also included many AI-operated features like AI Smart Call Assistant, AI Caption, AI Image Expendent, and more. Vivo is also offering 4 -year Android upgrade and 6 -year security updates.
Vivo V60 5G Review: Battery
Vivo V60 5G is supported by a large -scale 6500mAh silicone -carbon battery that provides an impressive battery life. With social media scrolling, browsing, OTT and casual gaming, the smartphone lasted for more than 24 hours. Even with heavy use, the smartphone will easily run for a whole day, making it an ideal option for those who prefer permanent performance. The smartphone supports the 90W flashcharge support in which the device takes about an hour to fully charge 1% to 100%, which is also promising.
Vivo V60 5G Review: Decision
Should you buy Vivo V60 5G at Rs. 36,999? The smartphone provides several refinements this year, which makes it even more enticing. A smooth and premium design, vibrant performance, promising camera, looking at the price, and a battery that lasts for more than a day. However, a UFS 2.2 affects storage performance, lacks perfection in night photography, and funtouchos seems to be disorganized. Despite the flaws, Vivo V60 is a reliable phone for day-to-day use, and the camera is suitable for social media purposes as it captures fairly wide and vibrant images. Therefore, for people who want a good camera at a similar price, Vivo V60 can be the right choice. However, people looking for more powerful performance can look for options such as OnePlus 13R, Realm GT7, Oppo Reno 14 and others.
