Florida village. Ron dcentis Governor’s medal with Governor’s Medal of Freedom has been awarded five fluoridians posthumously including singer-song Jimmy Buffett and former Republican and Democratic politicians.
Desantis said in a statement, “I am proud to recognize the legacy of these great fluoridians.”
“Our kingdom is better for his contribution, and we are proud that he called Florida home,” he continued. “He has earned each honor of Governor’s medal to be honored.”
The Governor honored one of the state’s highest honors, former GOP US rape and state Congress Lincoln Diaz-Balt, former Democratic Governor and American Sen Bob Graham, former Democratic Governor and US Rape Buddy McKay and former Republican Florida House President John Thusher.

Buffett, who died in 2023 at the age of 76, was a mythological music icon, who had risen for fame in the 1970s and was known for hits such as “Margritville” and “Cheesberger in Paradise”.
At the top of its musical activities, the Buffett was also included in the business, launched restaurants, resorts and merchandise under the “Margritville” brand, including opening its first margitville store in the West in 1985 and opening a Margritville Cafe after two years.
A release from the governor’s office stated, “Their legacy affects music and culture in Florida’s coastal communities.”

Died earlier this year at the age of 70, Diaz-Balt was a Cuba-American, who was deported from his country after the Communist Revolution. He was a strong lawyer against communism and oppression, and worked hard for a free Cuba during his time in the office, including working in Florida’s house and Senate before serving in the American House.
Graham, who died at the age of 87 last year, served in both the chambers of the Florida Legislature before serving as Governor and American Senator.
A release from the Governor’s office stated, “A Democrat, Graham was widely honored for his work on education, environmental protection and national security.”

McKay, who was the last Democratic Governor of the state, died last year at the age of 91. His public service was also involved in both the state legislatures and the American House chambers, as well as American Special Envoy for the US under the Lieutenant Governor of the state of Sunshine and later the Clinton Administration.
Thrasher died earlier this year at the age of 81 after serving in both chambers of Florida, President of Florida State University, Florida’s Republican Party President and State Legislature. He also served in the army during the Vietnam War.
