The city of Miami will again host the World Baseball Classic Championship game in March 2026, conclude a tournament that will also be played in Houston, Tokyo and San Juan, Puerto Rico.
For the second consecutive time, the Landepot Park will be a site for all three rounds – including semi -finals and finals.
In 2023, Miami Marlins’s Home Stadium became the first place to host the Games in all three phases of a WBC. All of them participated in 15 games in Miami, more than 470,000 fans, which was a total record.
Japan Defeated the United States 3–2, as Shohi Ohtani hit Mike Trout to end the game.
Marlins owner Bruce Sharman said in a statement, “After a record-brakeing world baseball classic in 2023, Landepot Park showed that it is a home of international baseball,” and we are proud of a statement in a statement, “and we are once again proud to have an incredible tournament to South Florida, Jegle Global events back on the goal events brought.”
The sixth will also be held at WBC Houston at Min Made Park, Tokyo Dome in Japan and San Juan, Hiram Bithorn Stadium in Puerto Rico.
Houston will hold the WBC game for the first time. Hiram Bithorn Stadium will host for the first time since 2013.
Tokyo has hosted pools in all five previous editions of World Baseball Classic (2006, 2009, 2013, 2017 and 2023).
Major League baseball announced 2026 places on Thursday.
