At a crown court hearing in Anemsham, Judge Jonathan Cooper stated that the king presented a “important” risk.
King repeatedly shot officers with a crossbow from his upstairs window before chasing him with a weapon and shooting an officer.
The judge said that the king’s action, in which the officers continue to chase and firing at him, were evidence “attempted to settle a score with the police”.
He said, “It was as if you were trying to hunt the officer, chasing him, targeting his body,” he said.
The court heard that after the incident, the king, who has a history of mental health difficulties, tried to “hide” in a wood, but was chased and shot by an officer.
Judge Cooper was told that he had bought Crossbow online for less than £ 20.
He said that the king said that he was “clearly next to himself” during the incident.
The judge said, “You came out of their house to try and shoot at the police officers.”
“You contacted the PC Foster and, from a Craching position, picked up and fired your crossbow.
“From a distance of about two cars, you shot him in the leg because he turned to run.”
Judge Cooper said that PC foster and two other officials should be appreciated for bravery.
Barrister Graham Smith, the prosecution told the judge that the king had the previous guilty – a convict for placing a “bladed article” in a public place and punching and threatening the neighbor.
He said that Raja had hunted police during the incident and scolded the police – a witness used the word “tracking”.
Mr. Smith said that the officer had seen the king “smiling” because he had dropped out of his address before shooting in the leg, resulting in a two to three percent wound near a artery.
PC Foster saw the sentence hearing through an online link.
In a written statement statement, he told the judge that the attack impressed him with “so many methods”.
“At first, I think I was quite a crook about the work,” he said.
“I have a kind of idea risk risk and that is what you treat you.
“Now I feel more alert.”
PC Foster said he had to face concern and thought how he would never have seen his “parents or anyone else”.
He said that his wound was physically healed but left a mark.
Barrister Mark Kimsi for King said that his client had a history of anxiety and depression, and cannabis could be a “aggressive factor”.
He said the evidence revealed that the king thought he could “talk” to a neighbor’s dog and “was special about contacting the Goddess of Egypt”.
Mr. Kimsi said that the king wanted to apologize, felt “embarrassed and embarrassed”, and “did not understand why he lost the conspiracy”.
He said that what the king did was “completely out of character”.
He said that the king, who had worked “in computer”, was in custody since May 2024 and “doing very well”.
