The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) unit of Delhi on Wednesday said an “accident” during Jan Sunavai at the residence of Chief Minister Rekha Gupta. Officials said that a person has been detained in connection with the case.
The party did not provide much details.
The party said, “Delhi’s BJP President Virendra Sachdeva strongly condemned the attack on CM Rekha Gupta during the weekly Jan Sunwai.”
Unconfirmed reports on television channels claimed that a person participating in ‘Jan Sunwai’ slapped Delhi CM.
The news agency Annie quoted Delhi Police quoting Delhi Police, saying that during the attack on Delhi CM Rekha, took to the Civil Lines Police Station and during CM Residency, in CM Residence, news agency Annie was quoted by news agency Annie.

According to party sources quoted in a report by PTI news agency, Rekha Gupta was “attacked” by a person of about 35 years of age. He first gave some papers to the CM during a public hearing and then allegedly attacked him, sources said.
