Fans have the opportunity to grab a piece of Duton history, with the third and final Duton Abe film, being a hit on the big screen in September.
Props, costumes and set pieces are being auctioned for charity during the series and there are plenty of performance at a free exhibition in London.
They include the bell wall from the servant hall, expected to bring between £ 5,000 and £ 7,000, and the family car – 1925’s sunbeam – is estimated from £ 25,000 to £ 35,000.
The exhibition at Bonhems at New Bond Street will remain open until the closure of September 16.
The period drama was mainly shot at Hampshire’s Highlore Castle.
Other places include Bampton, Cogus Manor Farm and Kingston Bagpuse House in Oxfordshire and Basildon Park at Berkshire.
Charlie Thomas, director of the Group of Bonhams UK, said Sunbeam was a “iconic vehicle”.
“There is a letter rack, ashtray and even a small sunroof – but it’s not a sunroof, it is a chimney, because in 1925 everyone was smoking.”
The costumes include six wedding dresses, including Lady Mary’s wedding to season three from Matthew Croly.
“Lace, embroidery and beading – this is an amazing example of an extraordinary level of expansion,” said Mr. Thomas.
The items worn by the Counts of Grand – played by the late Dame Maggi Smith – are also listed.
Considering Douton’s global appeal, Dame Panelope Wilton, who played the role of widow Isobel Croly, said: “Julian Fellow wrote 18 major characters in all fields of life and all this is about a family, and people recognize relationships in their lives.
“I think it’s the right time to say goodbye – it is best to go to a high.”
The money raised from the auction will go together for a small life, a charity that supports the life-limiting situation and children with their families.
