New Delhi: AAM AADMI Party (AAP) President Saurabh Bhardwaj on Tuesday slammed the newly introduced education bill regulating the fees of private schools, saying it “against the middle class parents and students.,Bhardwaj further said that the party has launched a campaign against the law and is distributing pamphlets outside the private schools in Delhi to raise awareness among the parents on the increase in fees. “A new education law has been enacted about the fees of private schools. It is fully designed for private school owners and against the middle class of children and parents. For this, we have launched a campaign today, under which we are distributing these pamphlets outside private schools in all the assemblies of Delhi. Hamdwaz told reporters in the national capital, “We are distributing them to make them aware … and there is no provision how to apply the implemented fee on 1 April.Earlier, on 6 August, in its attack on the AAP, the school fee regulation bill as “anti-guardian and supporter-management”. The party also proposed four major amendments to protect the rights of parents. Senior AAP leader and Opposition Leader (LOP), Atisi, shared that the AAP shared that the AAP has submitted proposals to make the school audit mandatory, representation of parents, easy complaint thresholds, and the right to challenge the committee’s decisions in the court.The Assembly LOP said that the bjp MLAs will now have to prove through their votes whether they are standing with a Delhi parents or with an official statement with private school profiteers.Addressing a press conference with AAP Sanjeev Jha and MLA Kuldeep Kumar, Atisi said, “The BJP-led Delhi government has brought a bill to regulate private school fees-a bill that was in discussion since April.
