The Arab medias are waiting for a formal response from Israel, when Hamas said that it has accepted a new proposal for the Gaza ceasefire and hostage release deal.
The plan was presented by Qatar and Egypt, trying to stop a major new Israeli aggressive to completely capture Gaza.
Qatar said it was “almost identical” for an American proposal for the 60 -Divine Trus, during which about half of the about half of the 50 bounds held in Gaza – 20 of which would be assigned to them and the two sides would negotiate a permanent ceasefire and the rest of the return.
In recent times, the government of Israel has said that it will no longer accept a partial deal – only one wider one that will free all the hostages.
Local media quoted a senior Israeli official as saying: “The position of Israel has not changed – the release of all the hostages and other conditions defined to end the war.”
At the end of this week, the Israeli cabinet is expected to approve the army’s plan to capture the city of Gaza, where thousands of people have been motivated to flee from intensifying Israel’s strike.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced Israel’s intentions to conquer Gaza – most of its 2.1 million Palestinian residents have sought refuge – after indirect conversation with Hamas on a ceasefire deal last month.
On Monday night, a statement by Hamas announced that the armed group and other Palestinian groups had approved a ceasefire proposal presented by Egypt and Katri intermediaries to his delegation at Kairi on the previous day.
Hamas’s official Taher Al-Nunu told Al-Arabi TV that he had not amended the proposal, which he had described as “a partial deal for a broad deal”.
He also emphasized that on the first day of its implementation, negotiations would begin with the aim of agreeing on a permanent ceasefire.
“We hope that the 60 -day ceasefire would be enough to end a final agreement that will completely eliminate this war,” he said.
Qatar’s Foreign Ministry spokesman, Majid al-Ansari, told reporters in Doha on Tuesday that the proposal was “98%”, which was similar to the one presented by the US Middle East Environment Steve Vitcooff.
Ansari said, “I will not yet go into the details of the language that is on the table right now. But what I can say is that it is very close, almost the same what was on the table,” Ansari said.
“This is within the limit of the Vitcoff plan … it is a continuity of the process. Obviously, it is in the details where Satan lies.”
Witchoff proposed a 60-day truste, in which Hamas will be released in two phases in exchange for hundreds of Palestinian prisoners and prisoners held in Israeli jails. He also said that the negotiation on a final agreement to end the war would begin on the first day of the deal.
Israel accepted Vitcoff’s plan, but Hamas rejected it, partly because it did not guarantee that the temporary ceasefire would become a permanent.
Israeli media said that Israeli officials were investigating the new proposal and Hamas’s response.
According to public broadcaster Kan, Netanyahu has not rejected the possibility of a partial deal despite his recent statements that he will only accept a broad deal.
On Saturday night, his office made a statement that Israel “would agree to a deal on the condition that all hostages are issued at once, and according to our terms to end the war”.
Those situations include disarmament of Hamas, demonetisation of Gaza, Israeli control of the Gaza periphery, and the establishment of a non-Hamas and Non-Filistin Authority regime.
Netanyahu said in a video on Monday that he had discussed with senior Israeli military commanders “his plans about Gaza City and the completion of our missions”.
“Like you, I listen to the report in the media, and from them you can get a impression – we are under immense pressure,” he said.
US President Donald Trump, meanwhile, wrote on social media in the meantime: “We will only see the return of the remaining hostages when Hamas is encountered and destroyed !!! The sooner it is, the better the possibility of success will be.”
However, the families of hostages are afraid of the new aggressive in Gaza city that people held there may be in danger.
On Sunday night, hundreds of thousands of Israel Tel Aviv gathered at Aviv, demanding that his government now agree with Hamas to end the war and bring all the hostages home. Netanyahu accused the protesters of hardening the situation of Hamas’s conversation.
The Israeli army launched a campaign in Gaza on 7 October 2023 in response to the Hamas -led attack on Southern Israel, killing around 1,200 people and 251 others were taken hostage.
According to the Hamas-Interested Health Ministry of the region, at least 62,004 people have been killed in Gaza since then.
Most of Gaza’s population has also been displaced several times; More than 90% of homes are estimated to be damaged or destroyed; Healthcare, water, hygiene and hygiene system have collapsed; And un-assured global food safety experts have warned that “the worst situation of famine is currently playing” due to lack of food.
