CBS News Texas spoke with Kolier via Zoom on Monday, and he said the situation is wrong – such as new Congress maps and other Democrats have tried to block from passing.
“I have the right to oppose, I have the right to oppose, as my voters do, like Texas has the right to challenge the government, and this is what I am doing. I am challenging these decisions that are being done. I don’t agree with them,” said Col. said.
“All Democrats will work together to achieve that legal record so that we can take this fight to court,” he said.
Kolier also said that, according to DPS, it should stay in House Chambers or inside his office in Capital.

In a statement, Texas House Democratic Cocks said that the police escorts “was the latest Republican strategy to monitor and control Democratic MPs after its successful quorum brake.”
Coliere and dozens of other house Democrats who returned to Capital on Monday welcomed the size of Texas to their supporters, as they moved to the house chamber before the afternoon started in the chamber of the house from Rotunda at home.
Democrats fled to the blue states earlier this month, when President Trump suggested that the state should rebuild its American house district map to secure more Republican seats. Democrats were out of the state to deny the Texas Republican village. Greg Abbott, a quorum, temporarily derailed a special legislative session, the Governor called the state’s Congress maps to reopen.
The GOP-headed redistribution attempt will give Republican-Hall House seats before 2026 midnight. Republican currently has a narrow majority in the House.
Because the Democrats broke the quorum for two weeks, there were not enough home members to organize special sessions. On Monday, 120 members were present on the floor, but 30 were still absent.
House Democratic Cocks President Rape Jean Wu said that his efforts to block the seats with a potential five Republican-Flags have now gone to their second phase, legal phase.
On Monday evening, the House Selection Committee approved the new map by a margin of 12-8 with party lines on the Congress redistribution. The law goes to the full House which can vote on the map in early Wednesday.
The Texas Senate Refining Committee approved the map on Sunday, and the full Senate will take them for some time this week.
