The best friends of James Lee Williams, known as Vivian, the winner of the Drag Race UK, told an inquiry that he “did not want drugs that James was as a person”.
James Lee Williams, who won the first series of RU Paul Drag Race UK in 2019 as his change-ego, died in a bath at his home near Chester on 5 January this year.
Giving evidence in the court of Cheshire Coroner in Wournington, Bobby Muskar told the court how he had last spoke to the drag artist via video call on the night of 3 January.
Senior coroner Jacqueline Devonish heard by the court that Williams had a conclusion of death by Mistancher after facing the cardiac arrest brought by Ketamine Overdose.
Williams, who went to/by him and his pronouns, spoke about his addiction struggles on an episode of RU Paul’s drag race – which his father Li Williams reported that the court had earlier learned about it to his family.
However, he believed that he had managed to remain calm, and his immediate family was unaware that he was removed.
Mr. Williams told the court: “He was just an outgoing character that was a lifetime.
“He just wanted to laugh to the people and helped them on the way, and I think he achieved it.”
The court had heard that Williams had died from the evening of Friday, 3 January.
The body of a 32 -year -old star was found by his neighbor Genin Godbold, who snatched in court because he remembered “as he was sleeping”.
