He said that it was since the metal bars supporting it for many years.
Westcliff Cricket Club players were already some who tried to lift the tree after falling.

“These are exactly huge branches for a tree which is hundreds of years old.”
Stephen Goodsel, a resident of nearby, is one of the many people who have left tribute at the scene.
Speaking on Sunday, he said that the local people felt “complete numbness, deep shock and sadness”.
“As a father and a grandfather, you hurt to the parents of the children involved,” said the 67-year-old.
“I have not been able to sleep since hearing the news.
“This is just a small gesture that we feel love to suffer children, family and everyone, because we are also suffering.”
Beev Kutd, who was among those who kept flowers, said: “There are many people who saw it, young children who saw it and it should be terrible.”
Labor MP for Southend West and Leh, David Burton-Sampson said: “So much youth is really heartbreaking to lose his life in such a sad situation for someone.
“Both themselves and the rest of the communities have been destroyed.”
