Dubai International Airport has launched a state-of-the-art, AI-managed corridor that allows passengers to bypass traditional passport control in seconds. Unveiled by the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA), the new system can process multiple passengers simultaneously-A global earlier marketing and seamless, can carry forward Dubai’s vision for a document-free journey.
A global first: AI Corridor reinforces the airport withdrawn
Dubai introduced the world’s first Artificial Intelligence-Poward Immigration Corridor at Dubai International Airport (DXB), which has retained its title as the busiest international airport for the 11th consecutive year. The initiative was officially announced by GDRFA Director General Lt Gen Mohammad Ahmed Al Mary. This innovation enables passengers to walk on a particular route – internally referred to as “red carpet” – complete immigration formalities without stopping or presenting travel documents. Ten passengers can pass at the same time, a significant improvement on the model of traditional one-uttri-one-time-one time. The AI Corridor is a major step within the wide “traveling without border” strategy of Dubai. It is designed as part of a large integrated system, which aims to provide rapid, smooth and more secure transit for travelers.
How AI Corridor works: Speed comes from security
AI corridor processes passenger information automatically and in real time. Using advanced artificial intelligence, the system identifies and verify passengers before reaching the immigration checkpoint, allowing them to run through IDs without introducing or prohibition for inspection.Despite speed and simplicity, security is not compromised. The system includes the underlying mechanisms that mark any suspect passports and immediately root them for fraud experts for review. It ensures strong screening by reducing manual workloads and rows time.As a result, the overall processing capacity has doubled, which helps in reducing congestion during the high-end period and improving efficiency.
Increase global standing of Dubai
Lieutenant General Al Mary highlighted that DXB is not just a transit point, but a major international entrance gate which reflects the progressive identity and hospitality of the UAE. The launch of the AI-in-operated corridor confirms Dubai standing as a center of technological innovation and operational excellence. He further stated that the work of GDRFA aligns with a long -term innovation roadmap that focuses on taking advantage of technology to modernize and streamlines limit control processes. Automatic, Document-free journey is expected to become a defined feature of global air travel, with Dubai with that change.
Major features and operational effects
- Processing
The corridor allows 10 passengers to pass at once, faster the throwput. - No documents require
Passengers do not need to present passports or IDs, as the system uses AI-based identity recognition. - Pre-related data recognition
Passenger data is matched and verified, which enables real time withdrawal before reaching the checkpoint. - Automated security protocol
If irregularities are detected, suspected documents are automatically flagged and experts are sent to fraud teams. - Scalable infrastructure
By increasing efficiency, the corridor is designed to support high passenger versions during peak time without adding the crowd.
