Japanese right-handed Roki Sasaki, who was hard-fanned, was posted in Major League baseball teams and will be available to sign a free agent from Tuesday through ET at 5 pm on 23 January.
Chiba Lotte Marine said on 9 November that he planned to provide 23 -year -old Sasaki, but waited for less than a week from the end of the posting period.
Because he is 23 years old, Sasaki is considered an international amateur by MLB and is limited to a minor league contract, subject to the international signature bonus pool, which is usually allocated to 16 -year -old Latin American possibilities. The 2024 signature period ends on Sunday and the 2025 period opens on 15 January, with the team pool $ 7,555,500 to $ 5,146,200.
Teams can trade for additional pool allocation in $ 250,000 increment starting from 15 January, but are limited to adding 60% of their initial amount.
The Chiba will receive the posting fee from the acquisition fee of the MLB team, equal to 25% of the bonus signed.

He created an ideal game against Orix Buffalo in April 2022 – 13 straightened strikes with ranking and 19.
Sasaki said in the 9 November statement posted by Marine on the social platform X, “Ever since I joined the team, the team is listening to my views about my future MLB Challenge, and I am very grateful to the team to officially allow me to post,” Sasaki said on 9 November.
“There were many things that did not go well with Marine during my five years, but I was able to reach this point by focusing only on baseball, with the support of my peers, employees, front office and fans.
Athletics, Cincinnati, Detroit, Miami, Milwauki, Minnesota, Seattle and Tampa bay enter the international signature period with $ 7,555,500 available for each.
Arizona, Baltimore, Cleveland, Colorado, Cansus City and Pittsburgh have $ 6,908,600 appearances, followed by Atlanta, Boston, Chicago cub and white sox, Los Angeles Angels, New York Mets and Yankis, Philadelfia, Fildelphia, Taxus, Taxas, Taxus, and $ 6,261 in Washington
Houston and St. Louis each has $ 5,646,200, and dors and San Francisco have $ 5,146,200.
