According to reporting, former President Barack Obama praised a group of Texas Democratic MPs to be called “inspirational”, according to reporting.
Texas State Rape. Jean Wu, who is the President of Texas House Democratic Cocks, posted on X on Thursday, thanked the former President for a meeting with MPs through Zoom.
Wu said that the Democrats were “encouraged” by Obama’s words and “are committed to fighting for democracy in Texas and across the country.”
ABC News A spokesperson of Obama confirmed the meeting, saying that “he appreciated his fight against Republican efforts to implement a more egoistic gemander in front of Midatories in Texas.”

The spokesperson told the outlet that Obama “clarified that he is part of a big attempt to protect independent and fair elections and appreciates others for motivating him with his actions.”
This comes amidst a constant deadlock over an attempt to pass a redistributed bill supported by President Donald Trump between Texas Republican and Democrats, which will probably give GOP five additional Congress seats. More than 50 Democratic Members of the Texas House of Representatives fled to the state to deprive quorum to the legislature required to pass the Bill.
In response, the Texas Republican leaders have filed legal action to force AWol MPs to return and also threatened to remove them from the office if they refuse to participate in the legislative process.
Texas House Democrats issued a statement on Thursday in which he announced that he would return to the state only if the legislature would agree to postpone without a plan to meet again or if California introduces his own redistribution law to “neutralize” the GOP seats received in Texas.

Obama has earlier raised the voice of solidarity with Texas Democrats, on 5 August X post, “We cannot focus on what matters – right now, Republican district lines in Texas are trying to win five seats wrongly in next year’s mid -day elections. It is a power that weakens our democracy.”
Wu told ABC News that Democrats were “especially excited” to address Obama through Zoom.
“President Obama talks with us and supports us that when Texas House Democrats stand and fight, we do not stand alone – we have the support of Democrats at every level who understand that when Republicans attack voting rights in Texas, they are attacking our democracy everywhere,” Wu said outlet.
He said that the meeting was held through zoom due to “Republican Danger”.

“The fact is that we have to meet President Obama from an unknown place and through the zoom due to the dangers and monitoring of Republican, only proves how Abbott and his extremist have become,” Wu said. “They know that their racial Germandering scheme is being separated, so they are resorting to intimidation strategy. But President Obama’s support shows that the whole country is watching – and Texas House Democrats will not be silenced by bulls.”

On Thursday, California Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom announced a plan to counter the Texas Rejuvenation Scheme to resume its districts to re -start its districts to eliminate Republican seats.
In response, Sen Ted Cruise, R-Texas, shot back that if California eliminates all its Republican districts, Texas should do the same, which will leave the GOP with net profit.
