In response to Bradbury’s allegations, a proofing group – 1873 – has closed a planned meeting with the club ownership.
A “peaceful protest march” on the ground before Sunday’s stability with Wakefield Trinity is still moving and now “has invited all the rugby league fans to stand with us”.
Responding to Bradbury’s claims, Sallford’s statement said: “This is alleged by a former member of Sulford Red Devils Staff, who left the club on 12 August 2025, that he was subject to unfair oral conduct by the club owners.
“Salaford Red Devils unevenly condemn the inappropriate language and behavior of any and all forms. We behave with such allegations extremely seriously and are committed to ensure that the atmosphere of our club is honorable, professional and safe for all members of the employees.
“In response to these allegations, we are completely internal investigation. We are firm to take any necessary action to establish the facts and address the situation. We will provide a detailed report of our conclusions as soon as the investigation is over.”
Sulford, which was taken by a consortium just before the start of the season, was several financial issues this year, leading to the vast majority of his senior players and the leading majority for the conflict side of the Super League.
Earlier on Thursday, before Bradbury’s resignation, Greater Manchester Mayor Andy Bernham told BBC Radio Manchester that he was “looking at the situation very closely”.
After the 80-6 defeat last Sunday at the plow FC, where five players made their debut and some squads met for the first time for the first time for the first time, the owners issued a statement on Monday that the club would not stop despite their ongoing problems.
Bradbury said that he and his colleagues were quit working under “impossible” circumstances and “the soul of the club was being ripped”.
“My decision to resign was not taken lightly,” he said.
“It is a heart -breaking, but I cannot continue in a role where in my view, the foundation required for professional success is not applicable, and where the trust between leadership and employees is erased.”
