Nikhil Kamath recently hosted Sam Altman on his WTF Podcast, where both discussed many topics – Tech to education from education and more. OpenaiI CEO, one of Kamath’s most high-profile guests in recent times, revealed that India is the second largest market in OpenEE and can become the largest in the future.
40-year-old Altman also talked about GPT-5 and how this model is different from its predecessors. Altman said, “GPT -5 has a flow and depth of intelligence that we do not have in any previous model.”
India as the next powerhouse of AI

When Zeroda’s co-founder Nikhil Kamath asked Altman how India could shape the future of AI, the OpenaiI was a major optimistic.
“India is now our second largest market in the world, it can be our greatest,” he said. “If there is a large society in the world which seems to be the most enthusiastic to change with AI, then it is India. Enthusiasm, AI’s embrace … Energy is incredible.”
On family and children
38 -year -old Kamath inquired about the importance of the family.
“So I consider it too much. Kamath asked the CEO of Openai, whose partner is a son with Oliver Mulherin.
Altman said that having a family had been more meaningful than he could ever imagine.
“Family has always been an incredibly important thing for me and I did not even know how much I had judged how it was really going to be,” Altman replied. “But it felt like the most important and meaningful and complete thing that I could imagine and it has crossed all expectations so far.”
