New Delhi: On Wednesday, the opposition objected to the presence of three officers involved in Operation Sindoor in a TV show for Independence Day Special.Taking the X, the Kerala Congress said that Sophia would be unimaginable with a professional army in any serious nation, inviting Sophia Qureshi, Vyomika Singh and Prarna Deothali to a TV quiz show.The party said, “Three armed forces officials will appear on a private entertainment show, a private entertainment show, Couon Banega Kurtapati, telling a Bollywood actor about a military campaign plan,” the party said.“In any serious nation with a professional army, it will be unimaginable. But it is the spectacle of New India under Narendra Modi.”Meanwhile, Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi accused the TV network company of earning revenue from the upcoming India vs Pakistan cricket match in the Asia Cup, while also invited the faces of Operation Sindor to a quiz show.“Our heroic women who were in uniforms, who became the face of Operation Sindor, have been invited by a private entertainment channel in their show. The original company of this private entertainment channel, Sony Pictures Network India (SPNI) has also received the Asia Cup’s broadcast rights by 2031,” Chaturvedi has written on X.“Yes, many channels that want to earn revenue through India vs Pakistan cricket matches. Now join dots,” he said.A small teaser of the episode, which will be aired on August 15, was recently shared, in which officials received a grand reception from KBC host Amitabh Bachchan.In the promo, Colonel Qureshi was also seen explaining that Operation Sindoor, which India started after the Pahalgam attack, was needed.“Pakistan is repeatedly carrying out such (terror) acts. A response was necessary, and that is why Operation Sindoor was planned,” he said.
