The Internet is now filled with some of the most bizarre videos that go viral in a short time. Late, some clips characterized by audball characters such as sharks and ballerinas, with Cappukino heads, are receiving too much traction from Ballinus youth, and they say these “brain rot” videos. Thanks to a young startup called OpenArt, now anyone can make them in just one click.
Established in 2022 by two former Google employees, Openart is riding an internet culture wave with more than 3 million monthly users. The company has recently launched a “One-Click Story” feature in Open Beta that lets anyone turn on a song with a proper start, middle and end in a 60-second video.
This feature is not only to create a silly tickek, but it can also be used to make interpreters video, music videos and advertising. Users can choose from three styles, namely, character Vlog, music video, or lecturer. You can upload your own character image, add a signal, and let the equipment bring it to life.
Editing simplified
The editing interface of Openart serves as a digital storyboard, allowing users to refine individual scenes for a more polished final product. The platform integrates technology from more than 50 advanced visual-generation equipment to ensure both visual and fiction stability, an area where many video construction platforms still face boundaries.
However, ease of use of platforms also raises questions about intellectual property (IP) rights. Some users try to generate videos characterized by famous characters such as Pikachu or Sponge, which potentially violate the copyright.
As mentioned by Techcrunch, Coco Mao, co-founder and CEO of Openaart, says, “We try to be vigilant around IP violations. When you upload some IP characters, we will reject the models that we use, and it is sometimes not able to produce IP character.
While the system of openairts is designed by default to block such materials by default, the company accepts that some examples may bypass these blocks. Potential licensing agreements are being discussed with major IP holders to reduce this risk.
Growth and future roadmap
Further, Openart has planned to increase its one-click story feature by enabling the conversation between several characters within the same video. The company is also developing a mobile application to make the material accessible accessible.
How the stage operates
Credit-based membership models with platform are operated on the model with four levels. The entry-level plan is priced at $ 14 per month and includes 4,000 credits that are sufficient for four one-click stories, 40 videos, 4,000 images and four varnas. Advanced plan, at $ 30 per month, provides 12,000 credits and supports up to 12 one-click stories. For heavy users, infinite plan offers 24,000 credits per month for $ 56. There is a team plan available at $ 35 per member every month.
Since its launch, OpenArt has raised $ 5 million in funding from Basis set Ventures and DCM Ventures. The company reports positive cash flows and projects its annual revenue for more than $ 20 million.
