Apple is ready for its major launch of the year with the iPhone 17 series, expected to be expected in the first week of September 2025. While no official announcement has been made, Mark Gurman of Bloomberg suggested that the program may take place on 9 or 10 September. The new lineup will include iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and a new Slim model, which replaces the iPhone 17 Air, which is replaced by the iPhone 17 Air. Along with the phone, Apple is projected to unveil Apple Watch Series 11, Apple Watch SE 3, and Apple Watch Altra 3.

The iPhone 17 series is expected to maintain the same performance size as current models. Pro and Prof. Max should keep their 6.3 inch and 6.9-inch display, while the iPhone 17 will sit between these two. Standard iPhone 17 can increase to 6.3 inches, matching the Prof. Earlier reports suggested that the iPhone 17 Air Pro Max would be a premium device, but current sources indicate that it would be deployed as a mid-range option-is less expensive than the model, but the standard is more expensive than the iPhone 17. It is located as a direct heir to the “plus” model, which provides a balance of size and value.
All four models are expected to get promotion technology with a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and video playback, which is exclusive to the first pro model. It will be enabled by Ltpo OLED panels. Although LTPO always displays support on the screen, it is uncertain whether this feature will be available on all models or will be limited to Pro versions.

For Pro model, Apple Magsef can replace the titanium frame with aluminum while keeping glass for charging. This will improve a half glass, half-aluminum construction, durability. The current square camera bump can be replaced by a horizontal pill -shaped design, which is also expected to adopt the iPhone 17 Air.
Apple’s A19 Pro is expected to be the A19 Pro chip built on the latest 3Nm process of TSMC. This chip promises better speed and electricity efficiency. For the first time, the iPhone can come up to 12 GB with RAM, which allows smooth multitasking and support for advanced AI facilities under Apple Intelligence.

Camera is important in upgrade lineups. All models can jump for a new 24MP sensor for a new 24MP sensor from a 12MP front camera in the iPhone 16 series and a new 24MP sensor for better crop capacity. The iPhone 17 Pro Max is expected to have three 48MP rear cameras – a wide, ultra wide, and a tetraprasm telephoto lens – and can support 8K video recording for the first time. The iPhone 17 Air may have a single 48MP rear camera, while the standard iPhone 17 can come up with a dual-lens setup consisting of wide and ultra wide cameras.
Pro models can introduce a mechanical aperture for adjustable light intake, which can improve deep field control-an industry first for iPhones that have traditionally used fixed aperture. They can also include dual video recording to film with front and rear cameras, which is popular among the creators, but is currently limited to the third party app.
The 5X telephoto will be exclusive to optical zoom pro model. Standard iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Air will not have a telephoto lens or 5X zoom.
