The newly inauguration yellow metro line will open to passengers on Monday, a day later it was dispatched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Connecting RV Road to Bommasandra with 16 stations, this metro is ready to change the way passengers travel in Bengaluru. The regular operation of the train starts on Monday, August 11 at 5 am.

Length and station of the route
The newly inaugurated yellow line has a length of the route of more than 19 km, which connects the RV Road area to the south of Bengaluru to Bammasandra, which is the industrial area of the city. It consists of a total of 16 stations with three interchange including RV Road, Jaydev and Central Silk Board. While the interchange in RV will connect it to the Green Line, the interchange in Jaydev and Central Silk Board will combine it with pink and blue lines developing in the future.
With this latest joint of the Yellow line, the overall operating length of the Namma Metro will reach more than 96 km, making the Bangalore Metro become the second largest after Delhi. It will provide connectivity to the leading hub, including Infosys, Wipro, Biocon, Tech Mahindra, and more.

Time and rent
Initially, three trains have been introduced which will run daily from 5:00 am to 11:00 am while serving thousands of passengers traveling during that time. This will work every 25 minutes, which will later increase every 10 minutes in the future.
The fare fee will follow the normal Bengaluru metro ticket prices, which ranges from the rupee. 10 to Rs. 90 for one-way ticket.

It connects the major areas of the metro city, including RV Road, Jaydev, Central Silk Board, Hosa Road and Electronics City, to reduce traffic congestion and connect office areas to different parts of the city.
