Riyadh Mansoor, permanent observer of Palestinian at the United Nations, and Jonathan Miller, Deputy Permanent Representative to Israel to the United Nations, addressed the United Nations Security Council’s Emergency meeting in New York.
Mansoor said that it was “not enough” when he appreciated the statements of the support of the members of the fellow council.
“You have to work. You have to do something about it. You have to stop it”, he told fellow representatives.
Meanwhile, Miller called the UNSC to focus his focus on eliminating Hamas and anything less was “not urgency but hypocrisy”.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu defended his government’s plan to handle the city of Gaza, claiming that there was a “best way” to end the war.
