Reba McAntire shared a close bond with her former step -step son, Brandon Blackstock, who died at the age of 48 this week after a private battle with cancer.
The 70 -year -old Country Star was first married to the father of 68 -year -old late Talent Manager, Narwell Blackstock, with which he shared 35 -year -old son Shelby from 1989 to 2015. Apart from Brandon, Narwell shared daughters Chasidi and Shawana with ex -wife Alyssa Gayle Ritter.
Despite her divorce from Narwell, McAntire first explained that she would always consider her family.
During the 2021 interview with Entertainment Tonite, three times Grammy Award winner said, “Brandon seems to be forever for my son, although he is my half-son, still I love him as if he is my clan-Mera blood.”

While she was marrying Narwell, McAntire shared how she saw her children as her flesh and blood.
“I do not consider Brandon, Chasidi and Shawna step children,” “Fancy” singer told remedy in 2010. “I claim them all.”
In a 2012 post on X, Twitter, McAntire in the east, wrote, “I am very proud of all my children. Shawna, Brandon, Chasidi and Shelby! They love pieces !!!”
The MCENIRE Blackstock’s ex -wife, Kelly Clarkson, also shares close ties with 43. Both lyricists have been friends for a long time and have performed several doubles for years. They have also worked together on the reality singing competition show “The Voice”.

Clarkson and Blackstock tied the knot in 2013, and became his manager in 2017. Both welcomed 8, 8, 8 -year -old Remington Alexander before filing for divorce in June 2020.
Before the finals in March 2022, the sharp partition of the former couple played in public eyes.
During the 2021 interview with the additional, McAntire shared his support for both Blackstock and Clarkson between his divorce.

Prior to Blackstock’s death, MCENITERE spent time with him during the family that exiting the rhodio.
On 5 March, Shelby shared a slide show of Houston Livestock Show and McAnantir and Blackstock and other members of his family in Rhodio. McAntire also performed at the event.

Blackstock wore a denim jacket, blue jeans and a black shepherd with a black shepherd hat as he posed with his family and smiled in many photos.

On Thursday, Blackstock’s family announced his death in an emotional statement.
The statement said, “It is very sad that we share the news that Brandon Blackstock has passed away.” “Brandon bravely fought with cancer for more than three years. He died peacefully and was surrounded by family. We thank you for your thoughts and prayers and ask everyone to honor family privacy during this difficult time.”

While MCENTERE has not yet talked about Blackstock’s death, Shelby shared a tribute to his late step brother on Friday.

Shelby sat on a brown horse in a padkok and wrote with a picture of Blackstock Beaming, “Our family did not start catching that tremendous loss. Yesterday, we lost a brother, a father, a grandfather and a son.”
“Brandon Blackstock was an irreparable part of our family – funny, bright and full of life – and he would be deeply remembered,” said Shelby. “He taught me a lot, left behind countlessly nutritious memories that I will catch forever.”

He said, “For every valuable moment we shared by us, we will never meet together, but I know you will still stay there.” “Every hunting, every flight, and everyday moments of life, I will feel your presence.”

“While I usually keep my personal life private, last year, my children’s father is ill and at this time, I need to be fully present for them.”
