Eurovijan star Sam Ryder has said that it is his opportunity to appear at the Glstonbury Festival to “put a flag in the ground and stand back” which he is working.
Star has been seen several times in the lead to his set, from pop up in a train to giving an impromptu performance in the “Surprise Show”.
He will play Avalon Stage on 19:50 BST and said: “No such ego can have any kind of approach.
“This is about singing your heart and intends to what is here, what you are saying and I am stocking for him.”
Talking to the BBC Summerset Podcast inside Glestonbury, the singer said: “I have been in the studio for the last one year, have been away from things and really am taking time to understand the time, what is it what I want to put forward in the music world, and what I want to say.”
Rider told the BBC that he completed his latest album a few days ago on his birthday.
“So for me, this is a time that you put your flag into the ground and are working on what you are working,” he said.
“Today we share it outside our studio walls, which is really exciting.”
The 36 -year -old said that he came in a video of himself two years ago, talking about “How much dreaming will play”.
He said, “Where do I come from in music, it is far away from Glstonbury. You won’t even think about it, it was almost inaccessible,” he said.
“Now, the music I make can work here, which is very good, I mean it is a prestigious festival globally.
“And like its shape, the measure, until you are here – I never came here before, I first set foot in this area three days ago – this is the best way heavy.”
He said that he could not “be more grateful” for the opportunity to open his acting people on the festival “.
“You have to welcome people with open weapons who are just going through the tent, that just hear your name and ‘I want to see what is all this’, or people who have been there for every song.
“It is your job to respect the time of every person running under that canvas.”
