Police said a man died and a teenage girl was seriously injured in a two-car accident near Frisby at a fast at Lessestershire.
The Leesestershire police said that the accident occurred on an A607 at around 18:13 BST on Friday, incorporating an orange BMW convertible and a Vaxhall course.
The force said that the driver of the Corsa was declared dead in his 30s, on the spot.
A passenger, the girl was rushed to the hospital in her car, where she lives in a stable condition.
Detective said two people, a 33 -year -old and a 25 -year -old, were arrested on suspicion of death under the influence of alcohol and driving due to driving.
Both have been released on bail as an investigation is on.
SGT Mike Stear from the force’s serious collision investigation unit said that Corsa Malton was moving away from Mavbre, coming from another direction with BMW
He said: “We want to talk to anyone, who saw this BMW driving in the minutes to the collision.
“I also want to make a direct appeal for an HGV driver, which we know was in the area when the collision was.
“Dasham in the vehicle can really show what happened.”
