A lifeboat and rescue helicopter was scrambled after a person’s report in the sea from Skgnes Beach.
An air ambulance was also called and on the beach, close to the Lifeboat station, landed at around 17:45 BST.
An RNLI spokesperson said the Inshore Lifeboat was launched and CPR was done on a person.
Hamber Costguard, who covers the area, confirmed that there was an incident and said that it had “everything on it”.
