New Delhi: The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Friday clarified that its primary site is working without any issue for all states.“Primary site/link for e-roll downloads for all states https://voters.eci.gov.in/download-erl?statecode=S25. The above site is working without any issue as it was launched and currently operational. Links of CEO websites (UP, Bihar, Maharashtra, Haryana and Rajasthan) are also working well as they are mapped on the primary site of ECI i.e. https://voters.eci.gov.in/download-erll?statecode=S25.There was an explanation among rumors about the non-Kingdom of the ECI website, which was leading to unfair confusion.“During the day, some rumors and baseless allegations were being made about the non-co-ordination of the ECI website, which was leading to unfair illusion,” said this.Earlier today, the Election Commission of India on Friday rejected the claims on social media platforms that the polling body removed the e-voter rolls of several states from the overnight website, calling it “fake news”.In a social media post on X, ECI said, “This is fake news. Anyone can download electoral rolls for any of 36 states/UTS through this link: https://voters.eci.gov.in/download-erll.”It has come after many social media users claim that ECI has removed e-voter roles of many states including Bihar, Haryana, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh from its website overnight. These came in response to a press conference organized by Rahul Gandhi on 7 August, where he claimed that the 2024 Lok Sabha elections were “choreographed” by the EC to benefit the BJP, which he said that “immunity to anti -unity” appeared.Citing his party’s internal analysis, Gandhi said that the Congress expected to win 16 seats in Karnataka, but ended with only nine. He said that the Congress, while doing zero in Mahadevpura, investigated seven unexpected losses, where he accused him of voting, including 100,250 votes. In Rahul Gandhi, while presenting the research of the Congress on the voting in the Mahadevpura Assembly in Karnataka, accused the “Vote Chori” (vote theft) of 100,250 votes.“Our internal polling told us that we would win 16 seats in Karnataka;“We found 100,250 votes theft. Theft was stolen in five different ways. In a building of 50-60 people, duplicate to voters, fake and invalid addresses, and wholesa voters. But when we go there, there is no record of those people.
