A former Police Community Assistance Officer, who was “prone to weapons”, was put in jail after trying to make a gun using a 3D printer.
Zo Vats, 39, who is a trans woman of St. Helen Avenue, Lincoln, was found with parts for a semi-liberated weapon during a raid on her house on 11 December.
Vats denied allegations of attempting attempts to build an prohibited weapon, and claimed that she was making a “fidet” toy gun as Christmas.
But after being found guilty in June, Watts was sentenced to eight years and six months in jail in Lincoln Crown Court on Friday.
