A British man has been accused of attempted murder after allegedly trying to drown her daughter -in -law in a swimming pool in Florida.
The Department of Pollock County Sheriff said that 62 -year -old Mark Gibbon was on leave with his family at Soltra Resort of Devanport near Walt Disney World Resort, when his grandson disagreed, the Polk County Sheriff Department said.
Mr. Gibbon of Biksfield of Buckinghamshire is several times accused of pushing and catching a 33 -year -old woman under water, which prevents her from breathing.
He has been accused of killing second degree and two cases of battery.
Sheriff Gradi Jude said in a statement: “It is great that the Polk County attracts visitors around the world, but we hope that they will behave while traveling with us, like we hope that our lifelong residents will have to do the same.
“Because Mr. Gibbon could not control his anger, he could spend a lot of time than spending a lot of time in Florida.”
The woman told the officials that the pair started arguing about their grandchildren, while they were in the swimming pool of the Holiday Rental Home, before they tried to drown her allegedly.
Sheriff’s office said that a young girl jumped into the pool in an attempt to prevent Mr. Gibbon from drowning.
Mr. Gibbon is accused of stopping only when two sisters who were holidaying at the next door, said that they had called Sheriff’s office.
He was arrested and taken to the Polk County Jail, Sheriff’s office said.
