One person has died in the 20s after a drum and bass concert at Kent, police confirmed.
On Saturday afternoon, the person was rushed to the hospital in a “very serious situation” from the incident at Dreamland Amusement Park.
She was taken to Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital (QEQM) in the city, where she later died.
The concert was stopped quickly, on social media with dreams that it was “very hot”.
Earlier, South East Coast Ambulance Service said that a patient was taken to QEQM Hospital in a “very serious condition”.
In a statement on Sunday afternoon, the Kent Police said it was “informed about a report that a man in the 20s, who was rushed to the hospital in Dreamland on the afternoon of Saturday 28 June 2025 after a medical incident in Dreamland, later died.
“Officers are questioning under the circumstances of death, which is not considered suspicious.
“A report is being prepared for the coroner.”
A spokesperson of the Tharat District Council said on Sunday: “We were informed that an incident in Dreamland had stopped quickly due to heat and a medical phenomenon.
“We are waiting for more information related to the incident.”
The festival was due to artists of artists including Andy Sea, Wilkinson and K Mostesions.
According to the UK’s Health Protection Agency, an amber heat alert is in most parts of England, meaning that health services and public members may be affected by the heat.
In June 2024, 17 years old Emily Stokes died After taking MDMA in a drum and base event on attraction.
Dreamland has been approached for comments.
