Connor McGregor back in March said that he was running to become the president of Ireland – now, he is aiming to make it official.
The UFC Superstar posted a link for a petition for social media that will “sure” on Monday that he is on the ballot.
“I, Connor McGragger announces my intention to seek the office of the President of Ireland,” McGregor It is written in the petition,

“The current constitutional structure, however, presents a significant obstacle to democratic participation. The current rules stated that a candidate should secure nomination from twenty members of Oirchatas or four County Council, who are eligible for ballot.
“In its light, I propose a petition that proposes a petition advocating the amendment of the enrollment process, so that my name can be included on the ballot. ,

McGregor was initially announced about running for the President a few days after meeting President Donald Trump earlier this year.
The former shampoo has opposed a bill about the European Union’s migration treaty.
“Ireland will have to fully implement the European Union’s migration treaty by June 12, 2026. So now and between 12 June 2026, several pieces of law are to be passed by both houses of Oireachtas and then signed by the President … who will stand for the government and oppose this bill? … I will do!” McGragger wrote in March.
