Zhang criticized the ongoing exercises that the US Air Force was organizing along with other partners in Japan and Western Pacific. According to the US Army, the Razolute Force Pacific is the largest casual-response exercise conducted by the Air Force in the region. The US Air Force has said that their exercise will train its forces to maintain readiness and execute missions under stress to demonstrate their ability to protect the United States and fellow nations in the Pacific.
