SC takes action against Rahul Gandhi in a trial court, which makes alleged derogatory remarks about the Indian Army during his Bharat Joko Yatra.
The Supreme Court on Monday made defamation proceedings against Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi in the Lok Sabha, claiming that the Indian Army was “thrash” by the Chinese Army during a border struggle in Arunachal Pradesh in December 2022.
The case is related to the alleged derogatory remarks by Rahul Gandhi during his Bharat Jigo Yatra about the Indian Army.
During the hearing, the bench questioned Gandhi, “AAP is the leader of the protest; Says in Parliament, not on social media,” the news agency PTI said.
