A 28 -year -old man has been arrested on suspicion of killing a woman in Donaghadi, County.
The 27 -year -old mother of two, Sara Montgomery, was confirmed to be pregnant at the time of her death.
Police on Saturday received a report on an unconscious woman on about 14:15 BST on Saturday, suffering a serious injury inside a house in the city’s Elmfield Walk area. Ms. Montgomery was declared dead on the spot.
Police Cordon is in place.
Det Ce IsSpl Tom Phillips said: “Inquiry is in an initial stage in this deep tragic case.
“Our views are also with Sara’s family during this incredibly difficult time – because they struggle to come with what they have happened.”
He said that the family is being supported by “specially trained officers”.
