The agency said Kimberly Chital, former director of the former Secret Service, would not have renewed its top level safety approval.
It comes after the resignation by Chital last year, which was amid increasing investigation at security flaws, which attempted murder against the then candidate Donald Trump at an expedition rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

“The US Secret Service sponsored security approval for all former directors for its knowledge of operations and national security matters,” said the Secret Service spokesman said in a statement by Fox News. “Its purpose was that the agency could maintain formal and protected communication including potential sensitive and classified matters with former officials.

Johnson, who presided over the Senate Permanent Deputy Committee on investigation, investigated the failures of the Secret Service for attempted murder at Butler.
Sen Marsha Blackburn, R-Ten., Who operates in the Senate Judiciary Committee, who conducted a joint investigation with a homeland security panel in Butler, stated that the agency’s failures should stop them from giving security approval.

“For men and women of US Secret Service, the only mission of Secret Service is to protect our country’s leaders and financial infrastructure,” Chital wrote in a letter to the agency at that time. “On July 13, we decreased on that mission.”

“As your director, I take full responsibility for the safety lapse,” he said.
On the first anniversary of the attempt to murder, Sen Rand Paul, R-K., who presided over the Homeland Security Committee, accused the Congress of lying in his testimony after the shooting, when he denied the allegations that he rejected requests for more resources for Trump’s safety.
The former director pushed back on Paul’s allegations.
He said, “Any claims or implications I had provided misleading testimony is clearly wrong and a discontent for men and women who have been incorrectly disciplined to a team rather than personal, failure,” he responded in a statement provided by his lawyer.
