Vaughan said, “On the selection of England, I will only say that they have chosen people who have not played any cricket and to throw them into this hotband of international cricket, so many people are watching this amount and so many people on TV screens worldwide, this is not an easy game.”
“It’s not surprising that they looked a bit weak from there – because if you are not going to play cricket, you are not going to use your body to play cricket.
“If you are throwing a 21 -year -old man in this situation behind a first class match in our summer, I think it’s absolutely extraordinary. I don’t think you are giving a child the best chance to succeed at this level.”
