Palestinian officials say three Palestinians were shot dead after dozens of Israeli settlers attacked a Palestinian village in the West Bank occupied.
Video footage from Kafar MalikOn Wednesday night, a car and a house were set on fire near Ramallah and the Palestinians said running as bullets.
The Israeli army said that the forces deployed at the scene found the settlers and the villagers throwing stones at each other. It said that many “terrorists” set fire and threw stones at the forces, who returned the fire and identified the hit. He also arrested five Israel.
The Palestinian Foreign Ministry said that the settlers opened fire on the villagers in their homes, which they called a “terrorist attack”.
The ministry also said that the Israeli forces stopped the ambulance employees from entering the village for several hours.
Another villager, a 13 -year -old boy was shot and killed – allegedly by Israeli soldiers – in the first week.
Israel has built around 160 settlements, which have been in the West Bank and Eastern Jerusalem – Land Palestinians since some 700,000 Jews residences, with Gaza, for a future state for a future – in the Middle East War of 1967. The estimated 3.3 million Palestinians live with them.
Most of the international community considers settlements illegal under international law – the status supported by the Advisor of International Court of Justice (ICJ) last year – although Israel disputed it.
“When our houses are being attacked by those settling with petrol bombs, what will you do with us?” An elderly person was asked, on Thursday, after the last rites of three people sitting silently with hundreds of other mourning – Murshid Nawaf Hamayal, Mohammad Kaher al -Nazi and Lutfi Sabri Bayart.
Kafar Malik has been attacked several times recently in recent weeks, which has been rapidly increased by the ministers of the Israeli government, often supporting their actions and who have supported the construction of many more settlements.
“They think they can take my land and force me to leave, but I am not going anywhere,” said Hamdllah Bayert, a retired professor of engineering, who has lived in Kafar Malik for most of his life.
For many small Palestinians, however, the realities of a rapid restrictive business and its economic consequences make life more difficult.
Shortly after the incident at Kafar Malik, another attack occurred in the Palestinian community of Dar Faja near Taibeh village.
Israeli Human Rights Group B’Tselem said three people were injured and three cars were tortured. It posted the CCTV footage, showing a group of at least 10 masked men, which is to set a car on fire and throw stones.
Palestinian Vice President Hussain Al-Sheikh wrote on X, “Basera violence and rampage, under the protection of the Occupation Army, is a political decision by the Israeli government, which has been implemented by the settlers.”
“The behavior and decisions of the Israeli government are pushing the region towards the explosion. We ask the international community to intervene immediately to protect our Palestinian people.”
Since the Hamas attack on Southern Israel on 7 October 2023, who triggers the war in Gaza, more than 900 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces at West Bank – a period in which more than 20 Israel has also been killed.
During the same period, the number and severity of attacks settled in the West Bank has also increased rapidly.
The United Nations says that the number of casualties or property damage occurred in April in April in the first four months of this year, resulting in 487 attacks by settlers. At least 181 Palestinians were allegedly injured by those settling in the attacks.
Human rights organizations and witnesses say that the Israeli army and police often stand and stand, while settling Palestinians attack cities and villages.
Since the right-wing, a supporter-settler of the alliance of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu-led coalition took over at the end of 2022, it has decided to establish 49 new settlements and start a classicating process for seven settled posts, which were created without the government authority according to the Israeli anti-settlement watchadog peace.
Last month, Israeli ministers stated that 22 new settlements were approved in the length and width of the West Bank, keeping it as a step that “prevents the establishment of a Palestinian state that would endanger Israel”.
In a separate incident on Wednesday, the Palestinian Health Ministry said the 15-year-old Palestinian boy was shot dead by Israeli forces in Al-Yamoon city near Genin.
The Israeli army said that “terrorists” threw explosive equipment in their army during an operation. Later, he approached with additional explosives and the forces replied by opening the fire, the added.
In January, Israeli forces began a large -scale operation against Palestinian armed groups in Genin and two other governors at Northern West Bank, which Netanyahu targeted to “defeat terrorism”.
The United Nations head of the human rights head said in April that the operation had destroyed the entire refugee camps and the Mekshift medical sites, and displaced more than 40,000 Palestinians, which were reported that they would not return to their homes for a year.
