The first orbital rocket designed in Australia crashed 14 seconds after the lift-off during its first Test launch.
The video shows that the Aris rockets launched by Gilmer Space Technologies, get out of the ground before losing speed and crashing.
Plums of white smoke then start rising at Bowen Orbital Spaceport in North Queensland.
Gilmer Space Technologies described the test of the orbital rocket as a “huge jump” for the country’s space capacity.
In a written statement, the company confirmed that no one was injured and the second launch should be within six to eight months.
