New Delhi: Resistance Front (TRF), who carried out the Pahalgam attack in Jammu and Kashmir, was mentioned in a monitoring team report under the United Nations Security Council 1267 Ban Committee.According to government sources, the report clearly recorded a proxy outfit of late April 22, Resistance Front (TRF) participation in the Pahgam terror attack on April 22, claiming 26 lives. It has been actively involved in recruiting youth online, facilitating infiltration of terrorists, and smuggling weapons and drugs from Pakistan in Jammu and Kashmir. The TRF also claimed responsibility for several attacks targeting citizens, political leaders and security forces in Jammu and Kashmir. Its founder and commander, Sheikh Sajjad Gul, has been named a terrorist under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967.
