The worst condition of the famine is “currently playing out” in the landscape Gaza Strip, warning by un-assured global food safety experts.
A new evaluation by the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) stated that there is a growing evidence that there is widespread starvation, malnutrition and illness, increasing the deaths related to hunger among the population of 2.1 million.
“The latest data indicates that most of the Gaza strip has reached the famine threshold for consumption of food and rapid malnutrition in the city of Gaza,” it says.
The IPC says that immediate action should be taken to eliminate enmity and allow a unconnected, large -scale, life -saving human response.
The report will not formally classify Gaza as being in famine, stating that only analysis can be conducted through “without delay”.
United Nations agencies have already warned that Gaza has man -made, massive starvation and blames Israel, which controls the entry of all supply into the region.
Israel has insisted that there is no restriction on help delivery and “no starvation”.
On Monday, Gaza’s Hamas-Interested Health Ministry said 14 people had died as a result of malnutrition in the last 24 hours.
According to the ministry, since the war began in October 2023, it was brought to the number of deaths related to total malnutrition, which included 88 children.
The World Health Organization also said on Sunday that this month Gaza had 63 malnutrition related deaths, including 24 children under the age of five. Noted that the bodies of most of the dead showed “clear indications of severe ruin”.
