A lonely gunman went to a Midtown Manhattan office building on Monday afternoon and set fire to four people – including NYPD officer – before the gun on himself.
Speaking at a press conference later on Monday, the NYC Police Commissioner Jessica Tish identified the shooter as Shane Tamura, a resident of 27 -year -old Las Vegas, with the history of mental health issues.
Tisk said that Tamura had operated the state lines, his vehicle was recently seen as 4:24 pm in Columbia, New Jersey, before he did not protect against bullets.

Authorities found a rifle case with rounds, a loaded revolver, ammunition and magazines, a backpack and tamura with a prescribed medicine.

The vehicle was discovered by the NYPD bomb squad, but was found to be clear about any explosives. Police said Tamura is believed to have worked alone and now there is no threat to the community.
“According to our law enforcement partners in Las Vegas, there is a documented mental health history of Sri Tamura,” Tish said. “His objectives are still under investigation and we are working to understand why he targeted this particular place.”

The building tamura entered and set fire, 345 Park Avenue, a commercial building where tenants include NFL, Rudin Management, KPMG and Blackstone.
Documents obtained by Fox News Digital indicate that Tamura had a hidden carry permit that was issued on 14 June and was valid for five years. Tamura also licensed a private investigator and in 2023 there was a rape for not giving the stolen amount.

The earlier record show Tamura played football in the Grenada Hills Charter in Grenada Hills, California, which is about 25 miles in the north -west of Los Angeles. He also worked as a security guard in Fox News’ Paul Mauro in Las Vegas Casino.

The gunman was equipped with a rifle and set fire to the building lobby at the first 52nd Street and Park Avenue. He went to the second floor and shot people there, sources told Fox News, shooting himself before and before going to the 33rd floor. The police is still looking for a motive in Monday’s deadly shooting.
