A band from South Yorkshire is making his Glstonbury debut after releasing his first album earlier this year.
The Sheffield Band Air Draw Dagger was given an opportunity to play at the concert through its emerging talent competition, which is held every year to give artists of all styles a chance to play live.
The Air Draw Dagger for the 2025 competition was one of the eight finalists won by Westside Cowboy who would play on the Woodies Stage on Sunday.
Guitarist Lewis Buden said that Live for Michael Evis and Emily Evish was “real”.
“We originally joined the top eight of the 10,000 different acts, which was very real,” he said.
“This meant that we are a group of Michael Ewis and Emily EVIS to play and play in Pilton, and a group of BBC DJs.
“So to finish with a slot and actually be here, it is fantastic. It seems fantastic.”
The band, which describes itself as an electro-Immo, Angest-Pop Collective, was formed 10 years ago and is characterized by Massey Mainterfield on Vocals, Lewis Budden on Guitar and Ross Door on Drum.
The band’s glansbury set is in open arms later today.
‘A very big moment for us’
Badden said that when he was playing the role of the festival for the first time he had earlier participated as a fan.
“This is my fourth time to participate, but I am not for 10 years, so it is a little late.
“It is just as magical as every bit as I miss it. It really seems really real to be here. It is definitely a very big moment for us.”
He described the festival as a “reception”, and said that he was especially eager to see the prose, which is a major impact on the band.
“There are different types of creatives here, whether they are doing tarot reading or there are people who show more Basak here.
“It is like everyone on the same playground.
“There are lots of different ways to glistonize. You can go to see the band in steps or you can spend all the week and do not see a live band.
“You can simply do all the hippies, so I think it is a very welcome environment and everyone is stuck in their time.
“This is a great alternative universe.”
